"Complacency is giving up your rights as a human to be human. So why don't we get dog leashes? REVOLT REVOLT.. even if it is of small consequence. At least it beats shopping at the Gap..." ~Shane Shane is the frontman of Uranium 235 and sings lead vocals, plays guitar, and writes songs for the band. Shane formed Uranium 235 along with Matt Brown in a Brooklyn studio in late 1994. "Well, you look around and see the media -all forms of communication- everyone is trying to tell you to become one of the establishment. Our message is for people to think for themselves. Think different. That's the way it should be. A child is an individual. He hasn't been molded and formed to be part of the machinery of society. We want people to start thinking about it, saying: "Well, they can do it." If everybody is headed ... to look and sound the same, we want to show that, hey, there are other options and if you work at it, then it can be worthy of something ... We want to get the message out that there is a choice, that there are cultural options " ~Shane Some fairly useless facts about Shane: He loves hockey and his favorite team is the Rangers. For more
