Review by Todd Sanford for Secondary Emission. Uranium 235 have landed and they are here to invade your soul with their CD Cultural Minority. With the perfect mix of electronica and industrial rock, Uranium 235 should find a happy home with fans of Powerman 5000, KMFDM and Gravity Kills. Uranium 235 have pulled off the hard task of balancing a strong techno/dance sound with the super heavy/thrash slam guitars. One of their highlights is the very club friendly song "Stimulation". If you don't find yourself dancing to this song, you must be dead. They even put their own unique twist of covering Dead or Alive's hit "You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)" by mixing in a little bit of Soft Cell's "Tainted Love". If you are into some hard slaming dance/industrial music you'll enjoy Uranium 235's CD Cultural Minority. And if they come to your town, bring the hockey sticks. The boys love to scrimmage hockey games before their shows. |
