Uranium 235 played Friday night at L'amour in Brooklyn. Unfortunately Rob was too ill to play, so instead of cancelling entirely the band enlisted the help of a friend, Nick, to play drums on 3 songs. They also played a few "acoustic," with no drums. They will soon be playing a free show to make it up to everyone who was there Friday night. Photos from the show are posted on the Concert Photos page. If you have any please send them to DrinkThePoison@hotmail.com.

Uranium 235 played a great show Friday night at L'amour in Brooklyn. Fans came from Virginia, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Connecticut, New Jersey, and of course New York to pack the club. U235 didn't disappoint, they played a great set including an old song that they don't usually play called "Sam White." The crowd was very excited to finally hear something different. The band is now taking time off from playing shows while they work on their next CD.

Uranium 235 played an AMAZING show Wednesday night at the Continental in NYC. The sound was perfect, the band played wonderfully, and the crowd was awesome. The club was completely packed with fans both from the NY area and quite a few who had traveled from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, etc. There were even 2 fans who came all the way from JAPAN just to see Uranium 235 play!! No one was disappointed; it was a great night. Thanks to everyone who showed up for making it so cool! There are more shows scheduled ... visit the shows page for up-to-date info.

Uranium 235's new bassist, Tom, played his first shows with the band this weekend opening for the Genitorturers. (Jimmy decided to leave the band in order to pursue his career). Tom played wonderfully: he was very into it and knew the songs really well. He also seemed like a really nice guy.

The four shows this weekend with Genitortuers and Godhead went well. Friday at L'amour had a good turnout and people really seemed to like the band. Unfortunately, Saturday at the 9:30 club, Uranium 235 was unable to finish their set due to technical difficulties. Hopefully they will play the area again soon so that fans will get to check out a full U235 show. Sunday at the Trocadero was another excellent show, with a large turnout of U235 fans. Many fans got to met the band after the show, taking pictures and getting autographs. Monday in Boston, the set was again too short, but U235 made the best of it and played well.

If anyone is interested in designing clothes, Rob said he would like to try wearing your stuff. He's looking for some tough Goth scary clothes, so if you're talented in this area please bring some outfits to the next show and let him see. Rob is a size 44 chest.

Uranium 235 played last nite at L'amour in Brooklyn. Openers Witchmoon, Modus Operandi, and some Korn-sounding band that I forget the name of all played well. Mindless Self Indulgence did a great job entertaining the audience. By the time Uranium came on at about 12:30, the place was PACKED. The crowd was enthusiastic and the band played a great show. The set list was typical: Creator, Scent Explosion, Here It Comes, Radio Shutdown, Stimulation, Drown, God Thing, Uranium 235, You Spin Me Round, and, as a surprising encore, Bleed My Disease. Afterwards many fans found their way backstage for the chance to meet the band. There were a lot of new faces and everyone who saw U235 seemed impressed.
