Very gutsy horror fic with a soulfull strain.
I first read the beginning of this a few years ago and was kind of shocked but since then I have read a lot more all about Spike fanfiction. I recently rediscovered the finished story and realised I seemed to have developed a better appreciation for a good read. Thanks I think I have been turned.

Nov 23, 2005 I LOVED it! Spawn is my favorite couple and this is the best Spawn fanfic ive ever read! i loved how at the end buffy got killed and spike and dawn ended up together. thats how it should be!

Apr 6, 2005 Awesome. The ending made my day (never liked the way Buff treated Spike!). I couldn't tear my eyes away until the very, very end. Spike and Dawn make a wonderful couple, and sometimes the most meaningful, romantic, fullfilling relationships are those that start out the way you described Spike and Dawn. I can't wait to read more of your work! Hell, I'd like to see this made into a movie! (Maybe the new Spike movie everyone is talking about??) Just a thought!

Aug 19, 2004 I really enjoyed. The flow was good, the story moved well. The only thing I think pulled it down a little was that some of the overly descriptive paragraphs slowed the pace down.

Mar 11, 2004 I first read Dangerous and knew I just had to go on; the idea of Vamp Buffy and Vamp Dawn was just too perfect. I loved how you treated the dynamic of the Spike/Dawn relationship, and I thought Vamp Dawn was a perfectly done character. Bleak, chilling, excellent. "Dangerous" was one of the first BtVS fanfics I read, and I was impressed with its high quality. That impression is only confirmed and strengthened by this more extended, substantial follow-up. Buffy always wanted to have her cake and yet eat it; she wanted Spike "dangerous"...except to her and the SITs. Fierce only toward what she pointed him at. In these two tales of yours, all suffer the credible backlash of that. Fine work.

Jan 10, 2004 Well, at long last you've finished it! And frankly, Harm, you couldn't have given it a more fitting ending. Love's Bitch falls again, and it all made perfect sense.
Spike needs to be *needed* more than any character in the BtVS universe. Thank God you recognized it and kept him so true to character.

Sep 21, 2003 Marvelous story, and excellent as a standalone. I have to admit I have not read its prequel, seeing as I was drawn to the Spike/Dawn aspect of the story (shame on Spike...Dawn's getting a raw deal!), but this is addicting. Really addicting. How is it that I want to smack Spike for being such an indecisive ponce and yet want to hug him to pieces for having what twisted princples he does have? Congratulations on keeping THIS reader hooked.

May 25, 2003 Interesting premise, but a kind of dry follow-through. Decent Spike voice, but Buffy and Dawn seem way off, even taking their being vampires into account. Not enough attention to details and descriptions, but the plot is better than a lot. Still, good job.
