That was definitely a chilling little scene between the two of them, creepy and sad at the same time. Nicely done.

Sep 24, 2003 I don't think I've ever read a more compelling Drusilla than this before. And I love the way you describe the night. The moon, stars, evening sky...it's all perfect.

Jun 3, 2003 A compelling and bittersweet look into the subtlety and tenderness of Spike and Dru's relationship and pretty poetic as well. I agree with Mona about your characterization of Dru, you give her some nice depth.

Feb 21, 2003 Hello zero,
just wanted to bow before you-- rendering Drusilla the mysterious black princess Spike adored instead of some flat lunatic babbling incoherencies once in a while speaks of most commendable writing skills.
A rich and layered story, as cool, dark and enigmatic as Dru. Thanks.
Mona

Feb 21, 2003 | I actually had to read this twice to get the nuances. Very touching.
