What fantastic Tara characterization! The way she blushes and stammers and shreds her napkin, and then blurts out the most shocking things -- and then tells Spike the difficult truth.

Buffy's abuse of Spike and Willow's abuse of Tara were never really addressed on the show, so it's good to see stories like this that aren't afraid to face those issues.

I think its great that someone finally came out and said that it was an abusive realtionship. That it was Tara was a nice touch, because she's always been one of my favorite charecters, and a bit more levelheaded than the rest of the Scooby Gang.

I usually read the amusing soft-core Buffy-Spike porn that is so readily found here, but I am really impressed with this engaging piece!

Excellent work, I'll be keeping my eyes open for your name.

Cheers for the read!

I think you did an excellent job. You took
what little bit we have of Tara and how
she is and where she came from and really
just flushed her out and made her more
real than the show ever did.. yet really stuck
with what the show DID give you.

I loved her insightfulness and I think you
did great with the voices of both tara and
Spike.

You really need to write a sequel or a series, build the friendship and all that. But even if you don't then just know this is a GREAT fic.
