Feb 24, 2006 Really impressive tale. Outstanding characterization and writing; original plot; amazing fight sequences. Spike's complex and emotional reaction to his former self is intriguing, to say the least. Of course, would love to see this story finished. But if you have no plans to do so, thanks anyway for a great read.

I am stultified and undone.
Your character voices are excellent. I find myself liking everyone, from Giles and his "vampire counterpart" to Dawn and her crossbow to William and his plucky vulnerability. And I desperately want to know what happens next.
If you posted more of this? It would make me very happy.

Sep 20, 2004 Really liked it. Spike is somebody real and multidimentional, totally different from William and yet they have something keeping them alike. There is a togetherness there. Sort of like one evolving from the other which ( duh! ) would be the case of thr whole vampire bit. Not too sweet but with the "underlay" of feeling, looovely rage and oh so human vulnerability. Cannot say I like somebody pounding a weaker person to a pulp but haven't we all a moment of internal dialogue" shut up shut up SHUT UP OR I WILL BLOODY RAKE YOUR FACE AND GAUGE YOUR EYES OUT AND BREAK YOU IN HALF!!!"

Jun 22, 2004 I really enjoyed this story, I found the characterisation of Spike refreshing and intriguing, and also felt all the other characters are true to life. The plot idea is interesting and the story is really well-written and leaves me hoping for a continuation.
