Sep 23, 2005 This story is perfect! I promise, the voices are absolutely perfect, especially Illyria! I love her in this story! The use of "slow motion" was very well-done, not too much, and their reactions to each other after so long were exactly as I would have expected them! Please please write a sequel!!! :)

Mar 26, 2005 I really liked your character voices. Illyria was spot on. I had terrific visuals of everyone. I did miss the part between sitting on the sofa and then lying in bed - would be nice to picture that kiss that led from one place to another. Overall your writing is excellent and very enjoyable.

Now, that was really beautiful. Well written, and not with their feelings and motivations all simplified out. They are both as complex as they always were...nice. And, can I just say, EXCELLENT use of Illyria. Funny and sad, just as she should be!

Nov 28, 2004 I've just read it!...and it couldn't be more perfect!...I really liked the fact that she already knew he was alive but didn't jump into his arms though. That's truly "Buffy", she would never admit at once her feelings. And the whole moment in bed...absolutely beatiful!!. It was good he didn't leave with her...
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WRITER/S!!!

Sep 2, 2004 Lovely, my dear. One of the most true and heartfelt pieces I've read in a long time. "I loved Angel too much, Riley too little, and you too late." That was perfect, absolutely perfect. You have a talent, honey. Thank you for sharing it.

Aug 10, 2004 Brava!!! I didn't want it to end. Tender, and true to their characters. It's the storyline I had hoped for if there had been another season. I must have more!!! Congratulations big time.

Aug 4, 2004 Cindy, this is "Season Six" material babe. I mean, this is the tightest shit I have ever read from an independant writer. It does kinda make me a little sad... and very angry that those fools at the WB canceled that show. Angry too at all the other networks that didnt care to pick the show up. But I digress... great story Cindy, and I would love to read more.

Aug 1, 2004 This is a beautifull little story, and quite honestly, exactly how I hoped their future relationship would unfold. These two need some time for themselves to grow and discover who they really are. A love like Spike and Buffy have will never fade, it can only grow, and I think Spike is showing some tremendous maturity at this point. He has become his own man, and is determined to make something of that. He knows he needs and wants her in his life, and is secure with her love for him. Something tells me, these two will not be apart very long. And the absense will only make the heart grow fonder....right? Look out when they get back together. Can we get a sequel???????

Jul 31, 2004 I liked the slow way this built up to a steamy end - and I liked the fact that Spike didn't just drop everything to go with Buffy. Great stuff.

Jul 29, 2004 This was such a good story it is unbelievable. You know the characters and the story so well. I have seen every Buffy and Angel episode a million times and I still couldn't write like this. I like how they get together but you leave Spike available to do maybe another series or movie without Buffy.

Jul 29, 2004 Very nice. I loved Illyria, especially her reactions to the Spike and Buffy Show in a Box. And, yeah, I never had any trouble with Spike not wanting to find out what Buffy felt about him now that he was alive. Tough act to follow, saving the world *and* discreetly snuffing it so as not to encumber the beloved. And I love the awkward sofaness and how it clashes with their fantasies. They're both mush-headed romantics really; they just never manage to wind up in that place together for long.

Jul 29, 2004 Oh, I adored this. Possibly the loveliest post-'Not Fade Away' story I've read. Illyria was perfect - basically I think I want to repeat everything Brunettepet said. Also opens up a realistic future. Thank you.

Jul 29, 2004 That was just wonderful. The last demon coming over the dragon, Angel - wow. Your Illyria grieving and being frustrated by it and needing to surround herself with his possessions, a lovely segue for Buffy and Spike opening up. I love that they are still on a journey toward each other, life is messy that way. Beautiful story, emotionally true and hopeful.

Jul 27, 2004 | thanks so much...it's so funny recently I've really felt the need to heal that ATS520 proposal...like it has been sitting in my heart like poison...and your story helped me so much. There is an arc, a deeper nature of love that only time and stress can help facilitate. Buffy & Spike are perfect pioneers for this truer love...and to see them continue this journey satisfiys something few other stock relationships can in the year 2004. We need to see their success. Because love is merciful and rewards great, great effort and humilty. Thus is the social relevance of fanfic and B/S. Thanks so much you got it just right.
